Prayer

"This should be the motto of every follower of Jesus Christ. No matter how dark and hopeless a situation might seem, NEVER STOP PRAYING."

-Billy Graham

1.

The workers at Beacon Rescue Mission Shelter and Thrift Stores would stay attached to God and Seek Him first in everything we do as a ministry

2.

The less fortunate that they would be receptive to hearing about Jesus Christ and we would be able to help them with what they need to get back on their feet

3.

The various agencies, organizations, businesses that we interact with on a day-to-day basis.  That they would be open to serving the needs of the less fortunate in the community.

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to us."  More than money, volunteers, food, or any other need we can express as a ministry they all fail in comparison for our need of prayer.  Will you pray for the ministry of the Beacon Rescue Mission right now?  We will never accomplish our goal of "serving those in need by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ" without prayer.

Before Jesus called His disciples to go out and preach the Gospel,

He called them up on the mountain to "be with Him".  (Mark 3:14)

"But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret..."

(Matthew 6:6a)
