We Have the Privilege of Helping …

...Families stranded on the highway (often with several small children)…

...Young people hitch-hiking, from as far away Canada, Maine, Florida, and California…

...Young girls with babies, who have been told to leave home…

...Families found living in automobiles or tents while the dad searches for work…

...People who need time to adjust after prison, addiction, family breakup, or other traumatic experiences…

We believe this mission, as a place of 'refuge,' is much needed in this community. We are grateful for the support and encouragement we've received.

Five things God wants you to know

First: You need to be saved. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Second:  You cannot save yourself. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us."
(Titus 3:5)

Third:  Jesus has provided for your salvation. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Fourth:  You must repent of (be sorry for) your sins and accept Jesus for salvation. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)

Fifth:  Now is the time to accept Jesus and your savior. "Behold, now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of salvation." (II Cor. 6:2)

Right now, if you will receive Christ as your Savior, lift your heart to God in prayer. It does not take a long, loud prayer, for God is anxious to save you. Just say; "Oh God, I am a sinner, I am sorry, I repent; have mercy upon me, and save me for Jesus' sake."
If you have prayed this prayer and meant it, we would like to hear from you.  Please send your name and address and we will send free literature to encourage you.

"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."
Psalms 62:8

There are many circumstances which can cause people in our area to sometimes require temporary shelter, food, or other types of help.  Concerned businesses, churches, and individuals have been joining hearts and hands to meet these needs.  Through these combined efforts, the Beacon Rescue Mission has been established, "A home between homes."

By God's grace, needs are being met, and lives are being changed.

"As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men."  Galatians 6:10

Our desire is to serve God by helping people in need and by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
