OUR EMPLOYEE TEAM
Meet our wonderful Store Employees.
Without the diligence and hard work of each store worker, our main source of income would not be possible. We thank God for each valued worker that He has blessed us with. Our Thrift Stores are run with precision by Bruce and Doris Johnson. Miss Charlotte Hayes was the former manager until her death at the end of 2004. She had worked with the mission for more than ten years. Her faithfulness and dedication to the Beacon Rescue Mission has played a key role in where we are today as a Ministry. Mrs. Charlotte Passed away on December 29th of 2004. These are our hard working truck drivers. Their responsibilities include picking up donations and supplying the five Beacon Thrift Stores among other tasks that arise. Jake is having a birthday tomorrow. He will be 14 and has made arrangements to get a workers permit. He has been so much help volunteering over the years that we are happy to have him as an employee.
The Beacon Truck Drivers are the visible representatives of the Ministry. Many people will never have any other contact with the Ministry besides interacting with the drivers during a donation pick up. We depend on our truck driver team to be good ambassadors of the Beacon Rescue Mission and these guys to do a great job! All of our staff love Jesus and are not ashamed to tell others about what He has done for them.
Our Store Employees are also a dedicated group of people who know what it takes to support a Homeless Shelter. Many workers go above and beyond the call of duty to maintain a clean and presentable Thrift Store. Each employee is given the opportunity to have a web page to talk about anything they would like.
