OUR LADIES DIVISION

The Beacon Rescue Mission Ladies Division is set up to accommodate ladies and ladies with children.  Single ladies are required to find employment and save their income like the men's guidelines.

Currently there are three bedrooms set up for ladies. Two of the bedrooms can sleep three ladies (or children) each. 

The largest bedroom has five beds set up and is used for larger families.  There is an access door from that large bedroom, that can be unlocked by staff, that leads to the Men's Division. 

Often this bedroom us used for Entire Families.

The Ladies Division has a wonderful living room area with toys for the kids and clean comfortable couches and chairs for the ladies to relax.  

The Bathroom is kept clean by the clients and inspected by staff.

The Ladies Division has a kitchen area where all ladies are welcome to prepare meals for themselves and their children.

When people walk into the Ladies Division, many comment on how "at home" they feel.  The goal of the Beacon Rescue Mission is to make everyone as comfortable as possible while they are with us.  No matter what the circumstances are for ladies, with or without children, to end up homeless, it's never easy to depend on strangers to provide for you.  The environment set up at the Shelter helps clients to relax and clear their mind to let them focus on setting goals for the future.
