I worked at the Beacon Mission in 1998-99. I saw God work in so many ways. I was praying at the time for direction in getting to Bible college and eventually the ministry. Gene Love told me I would get "frontline" experience that I could not get in school. He was absolutely right. I had the opportunity to lead many men to the Lord and see God work in great ways at the shelter. God grew me at the mission and absolutely prepared me for the ministry as I am about to graduate from Trinity Baptist College this year. I love the staff of the Beacon Mission and stores. I consider them my "family" and I always look forward to visiting when I can.
